The AS Val was a Soviet fully-automatic submachine gun. It has been replaced by the KEDR-B and is no longer obtainable in game. It has been succeeded by the ASM Val.

Prior to its removal, it was located in the upstairs classroom area and could be found along the corridor.

While it does not have the highest damage per shot, it boasts a high rate of fire and is a respectable and reliable weapon, especially in earlier rounds. However, the fire rate of the gun does prove to be rather hard to control at range due to its moderate recoil.

If needed, the AS Val can be quickly acquired early in the game to carry the player until the player gains access to stronger weapons.

As the rounds progress, the damage output of the AS Val tends to fall off. However, it remains a decent wall gun to buy in a pinch if the player finds themselves out of ammo in the later stages of the game. It's low cost and capacity to quickly generate the points back means that the player does not have to worry about making a huge point investment.

Pros & Cons[]

Pros:

Mid-priced and easily accessible.
High rate of fire and respectable damage output for a decent price.
Generates a good amount of points when used in later rounds.
Lightweight nature allows for unhindered mobility.

Cons:

Recoil and the high fire rate make the gun difficult to use outside of close range.
Can run out of ammo quickly due to its rate of fire.
Falls off in damage later in the game.

Weapon Upgrade[]

When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the AS Val becomes Silenced Valor.

With the Stealth Attack Module, the upgraded weapon deals 150% damage for the first 25% of each magazine.

In addition to the bonus damage, Silenced Valor gains increased base damage and a higher headshot multiplier. The upgraded weapon also has an increased magazine capacity and a larger maximum ammunition reserve.

The base weapon model of the AS Val is built by the ROBLOX user Meanwhile.
The AS Val can be considered an alternative to the TMP, as both are fast firing submachine guns that boast a similar stat line.
The AS Val's integrated suppressor provides no real benefit when it comes to actual gameplay, much like that of other suppressed weapons.
The AS Val in real life is classified as an assault rifle.
AS Val stands for Avtomat Special'nyj Val in Russian, or "Special Automatic Rifle".
The original name of the upgraded weapon, "Silent Valor", is a reference to the weapon's integrated suppressor.
"Valor" in the upgraded weapon name is a play on the pronunciation of "Val".
The AS Val was removed and replaced by the KEDR-B on November 27, 2020.
The AS Val was succeeded with the introduction of the ASM Val assault rifle to the Mystery Box in the ASM Val Update on June 6, 2024.
- The name of the upgraded AS Val was internally changed from "Silent Valor" to "Silenced Valor" in the code to make room for the upgraded version of the ASM Val, which reprises the original name.
