The Barrett .50cal is an American semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle. It is a heavy sniper rifle that can only be acquired through the Mystery Box.

The Barrett .50cal is a powerful heavy sniper rifle capable of doing high damage per shot, killing zombies with a single shot. It has the highest base damage of all the sniper rifles. With Double Tap Root Beer, the weapon can one-shot headshot up to and including round 35.

However, the heavy sniper rifle has extremely slow handling characteristics with a long reload. The weapon fires extremely slowly despite its semi-automatic mode of operation. It also incurs a substantial move speed penalty when in hand.

Due to its slow rate of fire, the weapon is restricted in how quickly it can deal with multiple foes and is vulnerable to being overwhelmed if attacked on multiple fronts. For the same reason, missing shots is very punishing as follow-up shots are slow to come and its magazine size is limited.

Overall, the Barrett .50cal is a powerful sniper rifle that deals tremendous damage at the cost of mobility and handling characteristics. Its heavy nature means that it is best suited for longer-ranged use, delivering devastating blows from afar and utilizing distance as a buffer for the slow reloads and handling of the Barrett .50cal.

Weapon Upgrade[]

When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the Barrett .50cal becomes the Yoko-Lagann.

With the Littner Anti-Material Module, the upgraded weapon fires explosive anti-material rounds when standing still. These bullets do full damage, create a damaging explosion on the first impact, and continue to travel through zombies. These rounds also benefit from increased bullet penetration.

The explosive anti-material rounds combined with Double Tap Root Beer allow the Yoko-Lagann to kill zombies with one headshot up to and including round 46.

In addition to firing explosive ordnance, the Yoko-Lagann also benefits from higher base damage and increased damage multipliers to all body parts. The weapon also gains increased magazine capacity and a larger maximum ammunition reserve.

  • The base weapon model of the Barrett .50cal is built by the Roblox user manofthelol.
  • The real-life counterpart of the Barrett .50cal is the Barrett M82A1, designated by the U.S. military as the M107.
    • The in-game name refers to the .50 caliber BMG rounds that the weapon fires.
    • The weapon's name in-game is modified to avoid confusion with the Beretta M9.
  • The upgraded weapon name, "Yoko-Lagann" is a reference to the anime Gurren Lagann, in which a superconducting rifle based off of the Barrett .50cal is wielded by one of the characters, Yoko-Littner.
    • The name of the Pack-a-Punch Module is also a reference to the character.
  • The explosive anti-materiel round that the upgraded weapon fires likely refers specifically to the Raufoss Mk 211.
