Battle Rifles

Battle rifles are service rifles chambered to fire fully powered cartridges.

In general, battle rifles are hard hitting weapons with high damage and penetration. However, their larger caliber limits their magazine capacities and results in harsher recoil when firing. As such, battle rifles are more suited to smaller bursts and utilizing accurately placed shots to take down zombies.

Battle rifles are usually slightly larger and heavier rifles with more unwieldy handling characteristics. The player's mobility is also slightly hindered when holding a battle rifle.
