For the second effect of Double Tap Root Beer, each round fired from a gun will produce two bullets while only consuming one round from the magazine or clip. This potentially doubles the damage output of the weapon if both bullets hit. Shotguns will have their pellet count doubled for the same effect. While aiming with most weapons, both bullets will hit at the same point, ensuring that double damage is applied.
The Double Tap Root Beer bullet duplication effect only applies to weapons that fire bullets. Projectile weapons, such as the Ray Gun, will only benefit from the increased rate of fire.
