Players earn experience points (abbreviated to XP) by completing certain actions in the game. When the player reaches a certain amount of XP, they will increase their level.
A player's exact XP amount and current level is only visible from the lobby, but players can see a line at the bottom of the screen showing current level progress, and also can see the levels of other players in their name tag. XP and levels provide no benefits besides indicating skill. Generally, completing difficult in-game tasks awards XP.
It is not time-consuming to level up, and low-level and high-level players alike can easily level up multiple times in a single game.
