"Semi-auto pistol. Good damage with excellent handling." ― Description
The Glock 17 is an Austrian semi-automatic handgun. It is a fast handling pistol that can only be obtained via the Mystery Box.
The Glock 17 boasts great handling with a swift reload speed and can be considered a straight upgrade from the Beretta M9. It has a good magazine capacity and offers decent damage per shot, comparable to that of assault rifles. A high fire rate means that it can practically shoot as fast as the player can click and is further supported by its manageable recoil.
However, the weapon tends to fall behind the Desert Eagle in terms of raw damage potential. When it comes to saturating an area with bullets, it is unable to keep up with the fully-automatic fire of the TEC-9.
Despite its superior handling characteristics, the Glock 17 seems to fall off in viability much sooner when compared to the other possible handguns from the Mystery Box due to its lower damage output potential.
Pros & Cons[]
Pros:
- Excellent handling with a fast and snappy reload.
- High fire rate that shoots as fast as the player can click.
- Controllable recoil even when spam fired.
- Lightweight nature allows for unhindered mobility.
- Can be used while downed.
Cons:
- Lower damage output overall due to its semi-automatic fire.
- Has to be acquired through chance from the Mystery Box.
Weapon Upgrade[]
When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the Glock 17 becomes Synthetik Polymer.
With the EKO Cobra Module, the weapon is converted to fully-automatic fire and allows the user to move at 115% mobility when held.
In addition to the fully-automatic fire and increased movement speed, Synthetik Polymer benefits from increased damage. The upgraded weapon also gains an increased magazine capacity and a larger maximum ammunition reserve.

Trivia[]
- The base weapon model of the Glock 17 was built by the Roblox user manofthelol.
- The original base model is of a Glock 18.
- The model in-game has the Glock 18 selector switch removed.
- The Glock 17 model in-game has a slide window for a ported barrel.
- Ported barrels direct gas up and out of the slide to aid in reducing muzzle flip
- The name of the upgraded weapon "Synthetik Polymer" is a reference to the distinctive polymer-framed design of Glock pistols.
- This design was initially met with market resistance and caused the pistol to be negatively perceived as a "plastic gun".
- The spelling of "Synthetik" in the upgraded weapon name is a direct reference to the indie rogue-lite game SYNTHETIK.
- The weapons of the indie game was a major source of inspiration for the Pack-a-Punch Modules in Project Lazarus.
- The "EKO Cobra Module" is a reference to the Glock 18, a variant of the Glock developed at the request of the Austrian counter-terrorist unit EKO Cobra.
- This variant of the Glock had selective-fire and was also capable of shooting fully automatically.
- When the magazine of the Glock 17 runs empty, the pistol slide is visibly locked back, similar to other pistols in the game.
- When this occurs, the slide lock is visibly engaged.
