"Semi-auto less-lethal launcher. Rubber grenades. Stuns on impact." ― Description

The MGL-LTL Anti-Riot is a American double-action rubber grenade launcher. It can only be acquired from the Mystery Box.

The rubber grenades fired from the MGL-LTL Anti-Riot deal damage on impact and stun the target for 2.5 seconds.

The rubber grenades travel in a parabolic trajectory. The player will often have to aim above further targets to account for the drop of the projectile.

Compared to the Milkor MGL Mk 1, the other multi-shot grenade launcher, MGL-LTL Anti-Riot trades explosive damage for single target stuns. The MGL-LTL also has improved handling characteristics, slightly better mobility, and higher ammunition reserves.

Pros & Cons[]

Pros:

  • Good impact damage.
  • Stuns the target.
  • Multiple shot.
  • Relatively good handling.

Cons:

  • Slow reload.
  • No area of effect.
  • Parabolic trajectory.
  • Has to be acquired through chance from the Mystery Box.

Weapon Upgrade[]

When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the MGL-LTL Anti-Riot becomes the Martial Law.

With the Excessive Force Module, the final shot in the magazine gains "No More Warnings", firing a rubber balls round that launches multiple rubber ball projectiles in a large spread. The rubber balls round fires 12 projectiles, each projectile dealing the same amount of damage as the rubber grenades and also stun for the same duration on impact.

In addition, the Martial Law deals 500% damage against stunned targets. The increased damage will apply as long as the target is stunned, including from other sources.

In addition to the rubber balls round and increased damage against stunned, Martial Law also benefits from increased ammunition reserves and headshot multiplier.

Trivia[]

  • The base weapon model of the MGL-LTL Anti-Riot was built by the Roblox user Anim8t0r.
    • The MGL-LTL Anti-Riot weapon model used in-game is modified from the original base model of a Milkor MGL Mk 1.
  • The weapon depicted in game is based on the MGL-LTL Multi-Shot Less-Lethal Tactical Launcher from Milkor USA.
    • The weapon is purposely built for less lethal munitions for riot control, crowd control or breaching operations.
  • MGL stands for Multi-shot Grenade Launcher.
  • LTL Stands for Less-lethal Tactical Launcher.
  • "Anti-Riot" refers to the weapon intended use as riot control weapon.
  • The "LTL" markings on the weapon itself stand for "Less Than Lethal", designating its ammunition and role as a less lethal weapon.
  • The upgraded weapon is named after martial law, a substitution of a civilian government for military rule where the law is enforced by the military.
  • The cartridge that the weapon fires, "40mm Rubber Grenade", is specifically the eXact iMpact 40mm Sponge Round.
    • In the upgraded weapon, the final chamber is instead loaded with a rubber balls round, specifically the Stinger 40mm 60-Caliber.
  • After firing the last shot, the cylinder will be rotated to be no longer aligned with the barrel.
    • In real life, this acts as a visual indicator for when the cylinder finished firing.
  • The weapon visually keeps track of which grenades have been fired.
    • This can be seen in the reload animation, when the player dumps the remaining rounds along with shells.
    • The shells from fired rounds have have a darker colored "dented" primers in the cylinder, which is most noticeable during the inspect animation.
  • During the reload animation, the extractor star can be seen extending to empty rounds from the cylinder.
  • When reloading with not enough rounds in reserves to completely refill the magazine cylinder, the player visually inserts the proper number of remaining rounds during the reload animation.
  • A Wilcox MK-32 Speed Loader is used to reload the MGL-LTL Anti-Riot.
  • The MGL-LTL Anti-Riot is outfitted with a VORTEX SPARC II red dot sight.
    • SPARC stands for Speed Point Aiming for Rapid Combat.
