"Hold F to buy Mule Kick [Cost: 4000]" ― Interaction Prompt
Mule Kick (also known simply as "Mule") is a perk that allows the player to carry three weapons.
Mule Kick costs 4000 points to purchase.
Similar to other perk machines, the Mule Kick machine is a powered utility and will require the power to be turned on before it can be used.
The perk's effect increases the player's maximum number of weapons from two to three.
When purchased from the machine, the Mule Kick perk will provide no immediate benefit to the player, unlike the other perks, until a new weapon is acquired.
New weapons will always take up the next weapon slot if available. If the maximum number of weapons is reached, then it will replace the currently equipped weapon.
Assuming the player already had their two weapon slots filled when getting Mule Kick, the next weapon will be placed in the newly obtained third weapon slot instead of replacing their current weapon.
When the perk is lost by the player going down, the weapon that occupied the third slot will also be lost by extension.
Overall, Mule Kick allows the player to carry an additional weapon and have more firepower at their disposal. This is very potent in later rounds where ammunition becomes increasingly precious as it allows the player to effectively increase how much ammunition they can carry by 50%.

Trivia[]
- The color of the Mule Kick bottle is dark red.
- Similarly to other perk machines, the Mule Kick machine will play a short jingle when used.
- The Mule Kick jingle is a heroic western country sting that evokes cowboys and gunslingers for the perk's weapon carrying effect.
- The perk icon also resembles that of the Japanese kanji or Chinese character 三 meaning "three".
- Previously, the price for Mule Kick was only 3000 points, down from 4000 points.
- The lower cost was maintained before the Pack-a-Punch machine was added as the player could not upgrade their weapons, indirectly reducing the effectiveness of the Mule Kick perk.
