The Nail Gun is a fully-automatic launcher that fires steel nails. It is a power tool and improvised weapon that can only be acquired from the Mystery Box.
The nails fired from the Nail Gun travel in a parabolic trajectory, dealing direct impact damage to any target struck. The nails have a relatively slow projectile velocity. The player will often have to aim above the target to account for the steep drop of the projectile.
Unlike other launchers, the Nail Gun is capable of fully-automatic fire. It has a steady rate of fire with low recoil. It has a good magazine size and ammunition reserves to support its use in full-auto.
The improvised weapon has retains a slight inaccuracy spread even when aiming down sights, unlike most other weapons in the game. Compounded by the arc of its projectiles, the Nail Gun struggles with accurate fire.
Overall, these traits mean that the Nail Gun is best suited for relatively close ranges, where its inaccuracy is less of a factor. The capability for full-auto means that it can be used in a similar manner as a harder hitting and slower firing submachine gun.

Weapon Upgrade[]
When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the Nail Gun becomes the Renovator.
With the Deconstruction Module, the upgraded weapon gains a nails that detonate a short delay after impact for a small area of effect. Stacking 7 nails on a single target causes the nails to combine into a super detonation with a larger area of effect and much greater damage.
Stacking nails on a target slightly delays the detonation of other nails in the target for easier stacking.
In addition to the detonating nails, the Renovator also benefits from increased base damage, headshot multiplier, magazine capacity, and a larger pool of reserve nails.

- They are credited in-game by their the Roblox username Hex7Zip.
- The Nail Gun is described in-game as operating on compressed air.
- However, the weapon in-game is not connected to a source of compressed air.
- In real life, a pneumatic nail gun needs to be connected to a source of compressed air to launch the nails, usually to a nearby air compressor via an air hose.
- The player manually disables the contact tip safety during the initial equip animation, allowing the power tool to be fired without being pushed against a workpiece.
