The PM-9 is a Japanese fully-automatic submachine gun. It is a high fire rate submachine gun that can only be acquired through the Mystery Box.
Pros & Cons[]
Pros:
- Very high rate of fire.
- High damage output, especially in close range.
- Compact nature allows the player to move at full mobility.
Cons:
- Consumes ammo quickly due to its rate of fire.
- Has to be acquired through chance from the Mystery Box.
Weapon Upgrade[]
When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the PM-9 becomes Perpetual Motion.
With the Relentless Module, the upgraded weapon gains the Relentless buff for 1.2 seconds when sprinting for more than 0.3 seconds. The buff boosts the weapon's handling by reducing aim and sprint raise times by 35% and reducing gun kick and recoil by 20%.
Upon gaining the Relentless buff, the weapon refills 15% of its magazine capacity, rounded down, from its ammunition reserves. This effect does not activate on an empty magazine.
Sprinting again while the buff is still active refreshes its duration and does not activate the partial reload.
In addition to the benefits gained by sprinting, Perpetual Motion benefits from increased base damage and a higher headshot multiplier. The upgraded weapon also has its magazine capacity increased along with a larger maximum ammunition reserve.

- In real life, the PM-9 is technically classified and named as a machine pistol.
- However, it is adopted as the official submachine gun of the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
- The bolt of the PM-9 is visibly held open when inspecting the weapon.
- The bolt of the PM-9 is closed when the weapon is on an empty magazine.
- This is because the PM-9 fires from an open bolt.
- The PM-9 was added in the PM-9 Update on June 23, 2022.
