The RPK-74 is a Soviet fully-automatic light machine gun. It is part of the AK Expansion, along with the AKS-74U and the AK-12.

It can be obtained through the Mystery Box if the player owns the weapon pack.

Pros & Cons[]

Pros:

Good damage output.
Controllable recoil.
High bullet penetration.

Cons:

Slow rate of fire.
Slow mobility when held.
Has to be acquired through chance from the Mystery Box.

Weapon Upgrade[]

When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the RPK-74 becomes the Resonance.

With the Kill Tally Module, the upgraded weapon gains Kill Tally stacks that increases damage by 10% on kill. Kill Tally stacks up to 10 times, increasing to 200% total damage. Kill Tally stacks are lost upon reloading or changing weapons.

In addition to gaining Kill Tally stacks, the Resonance benefits from increased base damage. The upgraded weapon also has an increased magazine capacity and a larger pool of reserve ammunition.

The "RPK" in RPK-74 stands for Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova in Russian, meaning Kalashnikov hand-held machine gun.
- This refers to the fact that the RPK-74 is a light machine gun variant of the AK-74 assault rifle.
The RPK-74 was added in the AK Expansion Update on March 31, 2022 as part of the AK Expansion.
