"Full-auto particle-beam pistol. Fires destructive energy." ― Description
The Ray Gun is a Martian fully-automatic Wonder Weapon. It can only be acquired from the Mystery Box.
The weapon fires green projectiles that do splash damage on impact. It is capable of killing zombies with a single blast to the head up to and including round 27.
It also comes with a respectable ammunition capacity for such a high damage weapon. Combined with fully-automatic fire, the Ray Gun becomes very effective at taking down large crowds of zombies, saturating the horde with blasts that deal splash damage to numerous targets at once.
The Ray Gun's projectiles travel slowly, so the player may need to anticipate the movement of zombies and aim slightly ahead to hit moving or distant zombies.
To conserve the precious ammunition reserve of the Ray Gun, the weapon is often reserved for emergency use in dire situations. It is common to only fire one ray at a time as opposed to holding the trigger.
If the player is caught within the splash of their own Ray Gun blasts, their screen will shake as though being hit and they will be briefly slowed. However, no self-damage will be inflicted.
Overall, the Ray Gun is a powerful Wonder Weapon that is capable of shredding through crowds of zombies with its automatic fire and splash damage. However, using the Ray Gun as a primary weapon will quickly deplete its precious ammunition reserves. As such, the weapon is often kept as a backup for emergencies.

Weapon Upgrade[]
When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the Ray Gun becomes Iscariot's Kiss.
With the Ruiner Module, the splash does 25% of the targets maximum health as bonus damage. This means that the Iscariot's Kiss will always kill zombies within four shots, regardless of round.
In addition to the bonus splash damage, Iscariot's Kiss also benefits from an increased base splash damage and doubled magazine capacity. Projectiles from the Iscariot's Kiss also travel at a faster velocity.
