The TEC-9 is an American fully-automatic machine pistol. It is a fast-firing handgun that can only be acquired from the Mystery Box.

While it does not have the highest damage per shot, the TEC-9 excels in quickly emptying its magazine into zombies with its insane rate of fire. As such, it proves most effective in close range.

Beyond this range, the TEC-9 suffers from heavy inaccuracy. Its violent recoil and fast fire rate mean having to aim down sights for distant foes becomes impractical.

The TEC-9 is also very demanding of ammunition due to its high rate of fire. The weapon empties its 20 round magazine near instantly.

Overall, the TEC-9 is a pistol that excels in unloading high bursts of damage with its extremely high fire rate. The weapon works best within barrel stuffing range where its lack of precision matters the least. However, the player will quickly find themselves out of ammunition if they use the TEC-9 as their primary source of damage.

Weapon Upgrade[]

When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch machine, the TEC-9 becomes Torrent.

With the 50 Kill Upgrade Module, the upgraded weapon gains 50% recoil reduction and permanently deals 125% damage upon reaching 50 kills. The current kill count is displayed after each kill.

In addition to the bonuses that are unlocked at 50 kills, Torrent also benefits from increased damage and a higher headshot multiplier. The weapon also gains an increased magazine capacity and a higher maximum ammunition reserve.

The base weapon model of the TEC-9 was built by the Roblox user Dustycommando117alt.
The Intratec TEC-9 in real life comes as a semi-automatic pistol. However, its simplistic design meant that it was commonly modified and illegally converted into a full-auto machine pistol.
TEC refers to the weapon's manufacture Intratec.
- The 9 refers to the 9mm caliber cartridge that it is chambered for.
The name "Torrent" is a reference to the TEC-9's negative reputation for illegal use, similarly to how torrenting technology is associated with online piracy.
- The TEC-9 has become associated with organized crime, gang violence, and mass shootings.
The upgraded weapon name "Torrent" also references to the high rate of fire of the TEC-9.
The TEC-9 was added on January 27, 2019.
